Studio 49 2000 range bass chromatic half metallophone

The largest of the 2000 range of metallophones from Studio 49, this bass model is extremely resonant and has a deep, rich sound quality. This is thanks to its high quality construction which includes shaped aluminium note bars with overtone tuning, solid wood resonance box and the many resonance chambers within. This model is the chromatic half, designed to sit alongside the 49-BM2000 diatonic model. This then creates a fully chromatic instrument. It is worth noting that this instrument does not come with Bb or F# note bars as these are supplied as accidentals with the diatonic model. This is a large, solid piece of kit which is made to exacting standards in Germany and is extremely durable.
