Studio 49 2000 range bass diatonic metallophone

The largest of the 2000 range of metallophones from Studio 49, this bass model is extremely resonant and has a deep and rich sound quality. This is thanks to its high quality construction which includes shaped aluminium note bars with overtone tuning, solid wood resonance box and the many resonance chambers within. This model has 16 note bars, which includes Bb and F# accidentals which gives much greater flexibility. Combine with the 49-HBM2000 bass chromatic half to create a fully chromatic instrument.
This is a large, solid piece of kit which is made to exacting standards in Germany and is extremely durable.
