The handcrafted thumb piano Mibra is beautifully decorated and is made from half a coconut with steel keys and is played with both thumbs, producing a wonderfully soothing sound in any key. The instrument is ideal for meditation and mindfulness as it is impossible to play the wrong note, as well as educational settings.
Playing the thumb piano
To play the thumb piano, hold the instrument in both hands with your fingers wrapped under and thumbs free up to play the metal notes. Simply brush your thumbs downwards in a firm stroking action so that the notes resound.
