The Percussion Buddies method is designed so every student stays active throughout each lesson. Pupils are paired up—while one plays the main instrument, the other accompanies with percussion, and they switch regularly. All drums are manufactured in São Paulo by Samba specialists Izzo. The larger drums are crafted from pressed aluminium, while tamborims and pandeiros are made from durable ABS plastic—perfect for school environments. The instruments are lightweight, hardwearing and produce authentic Brazilian sound.
