Studio 49 1600 range alto chromatic half metallophone

This Alto model from the studio 49 range has 6 all aluminium note bars, which offer excellent sustain across the range, and are mounted on a solid pine resonance box which further enhances the sound quality. The box itself is of a patented design which has many resonance chambers incorporated and also a durable bar seating which helps the instrument last extremely well in classroom use.
This particular model is designed to sit alongside the standard
49-AM1600 diatonic model which then creates a fully chromatic instrument.
With it's compact, easy to store design, this is the ideal traditional classroom instrument.
