Studio 49 1000 range alto diatonic xylophone

This alto model, 49-AXG1000, has 16 fiberglass note bars which have the sound characteristics of a decent hard wood whilst being almost impossible to break! Fiberglass also has the benefit of being able to be finely and consistently tuned but also to maintain that tuning over the lifetime of the instrument. The resonator box is crafted from solid pine and contains a unique internal design with many resonance chambers which creates a brilliant sound quality. This model includes an additional 1 x Bb bar and 1 x F# bar so enables the player to perform in different keys. Complete with 2 beaters, the instrument is ready to play! There is also a chromatic half, the model 49-HAXG1000 which is designed to sit alongside this model which then creates a fully chromatic instrument.
