This pair of maracas, also known as maracitos, from Percussion Plus are designed specifically for their Early Years range. They are great instruments for younger children and are comfortable for little hands to hold. As a small instrument, they produce a gentler sound than the larger maracas and are great for developing a sense of rhythm and also encourage and improve hand-eye coordination.

These maracitos were a present for a toddler. I didn't want wood but still wanted something more than a "rattle", and these fitted the bill perfectly. They have a good sound for a little person to enjoy.
