This handy little metronome is perfect for the traveling musician. The large LED screen makes it incredibly easy to use. Incorporating several functions in one handy package, this is the perfect tool for controlling rhythm.
At the back of the metronome a plastic wedge can be pulled out, making the unit free-standing - thus giving you that vital hands-free feature needed when playing your instrument.
With just 5 buttons to control tempo, pitch, beat and mode, this is a straightforward and practical way to control your music playing.
And while a full tuner is not built in to the FM-100, it does have an adjustable pitch of between 430 to 450 Hz, allowing you some tuning techniques of around A (440Hz).
A simple earphone is also included inside for greater privacy if required.
Simple, lightweight and easy to use, this is probably the easiest and most affordable metronome on the market.

Adequate for the purpose with the advantage of being compact and at an economical price. I suspect the electronic chip within is universal for many similar devices. Thus, paying more for alternatives, doesn't necessarily bring extra features; and, a metronome is only an occasional assist to help with more tricky passages of music.

I was sort of hoping the pitch adjustment would apply to the metronome output too so that we could kick off our cajon player and singers (who are allergic to pitch pipes, but in denial) together. Never mind - At this price we'll get another.
