Studio 49 1600 range bass chromatic half xylophone

The bass Xylophone from the 1600 range has a great, rich overall sound quality. It is the biggest and lowest of the range and has solid wood notebars and a 12mm pine resonance box. The instrument also benefits from overtone tuning which makes for a much improved sound quality. This model is the chromatic half and is therefore designed specifically to go with the 49-BX1600 diatonic model. This bass model has 6 notebars but worth noting that the instrument does not come with the Bb and F# note bars, as these are supplied with the diatonic model.
