Uke – I am your father
Concert ukuleles are slightly larger and longer than the standard soprano at 23in (58cm), and have a few extra frets on the neck meaning a slightly larger range (C-D#). The extra size makes the concert louder too, but both are tuned to the same pitches.
The build
All Octopus ukuleles feature durable catalpa fretboards and bridges, and mahogany necks ensuring long life and consistent tone. The tuning pegs are geared like a guitar meaning the strings are easier to tighten and will hold their pitch for longer. Every edge and all the frets have been smoothed and finished to a standard higher than many more expensive instruments.
